One ordinary day, in the car with my dad, he asked me straight out: are you gay? I was shocked and not ready so said no. By the end of that same journey, I'd decided to say yes.
Coming out isn't one day. It's a hundred quiet ones.
This is the room for the men living those hundred days. Gay, bi, questioning. Out, not out, somewhere in between. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, or anywhere in the diaspora.
Inside are the conversations you can't have anywhere else. Family. Faith. The marriage question. The awkward dinner table conversations. The version of your life you edit before you tell it. Plus a free course on the history nobody taught us: we were always here, long before a British law said otherwise.
I spent years thinking my culture had no room for someone like me. Turns out the room was always there. I just didn't know where the door was.
This is the door. It's free, and you can bring as much of yourself as feels safe today.

Not white enough in gay spaces. Not straight enough in brown ones. A free, private room for gay South Asian men, out or not. Come and see.
