Hope this poem can relate to some of you. I know I definitely can relate. Insomnia loves to torture me lol.

Loving yourself first is crucial, it’s not being conceited or overly confident, it’s simply loving and respecting who you are as a person. Prioritize yourself and stop putting yourself on the back burner. No, you deserve to be a priority! How are you supposed to give anyone else, including your own family , the love they deserve if you can’t even love yourself? Short answer. You can’t! So starting today, think about yourself more, do more for yourself, treat yourself, and love yourself no matter what, don’t ever let anyone take that away!

Some people only see the face. They never stay long enough to meet the standards, the depth, the mind, or the strength behind it. That is why they misread me

I’m confused and maybe yall can help me. But , I posted a poem I wrote and it got deleted. I thought this was a platform I could use to push my poetry and encouragement, etc etc so I can grow. But apparently it was against the rules? I’m really confused on what I can and can’t do here .
