It has come to my attention that tea may be an underrated—and often overlooked—way to incorporate manifestation into your daily routine 🤔☕️✨ When you start looking at each herb that goes into your morning cup of tea, you may realize just how much energy you’ve been overlooking. Aside from choosing a tea because it contains caffeine or simply because you enjoy the taste, many herbs also carry traditional spiritual correspondences that can be incorporated into your practice. Let’s use my cup of tea as an example. Today is Friday, a day traditionally ruled by Venus, so I typically spend some time focusing on beauty, self-love and glamour work. Naturally, I had to start my day with a beautiful cup of tea. For my base, I chose black tea, which I associate spiritually with strength, alertness and repelling negativity. Then I added: Hibiscus — self-love Cinnamon — beauty & magnetism Clove — protection Nettle — boundaries & warding Lastly, I sweetened and sealed my intention with honey for sweetness and self-care, while also offering a small nod to Oshun. 💛🍯 So this isn’t just my morning tea. I crafted this cup with the intention of supporting my self-love and glamour practice while strengthening my boundaries and spiritually protecting my energy from jealousy, evil eye and negativity. Beauty with boundaries. Sweetness with protection. Should I make intentional teas a series? 👀☕️

One of my favourite things to do under a new planetary phase - such as yesterday’s Solar Eclipse and New Moon in Leo - is to make energetically charged waters. As was taught to me by my Babalawo, water is a living thing. Water holds memory, and water gives life. Water can carry our prayers, intentions, and requests into the spiritual realm. We just witnessed this during the Oshun Festival, where devotees brought offerings to the Oshun River to honour the primordial mother and her connection to fresh waters. Have you ever heard someone say, “Go to the water and leave your problems there”? There’s a reason for that. Water is a POWERFUL element. It cleanses. It carries. It receives. It gives life. So to maximize the energy of my charged waters, I added herbs that aligned with the intention I was setting for each water, placed them on top of a Solomonic pentacle and then left it outside on my balcony (covered) to charge under the respective planet. These waters will be used in upcoming workings with the intention of transformation, breakthroughs, new beginnings, growth, success and/or recognition and visibility. Although I will not be drinking these, you can absolutely make waters to drink the morning after you’ve charged them. I would recommend writing your manifestations on a paper, placing it underneath the water and then in the morning drinking the water in one go. Happy Thursday, Sade Ifadayo 🤍❤️💛
