I recently looked over a grant application for a project that had real potential.
The idea? Solid.
But here’s where it fell short…
It wasn’t positioned the right way.
The focus was a bit too broad, the impact wasn’t clearly communicated, and it didn’t fully align with what the funder was actually looking for.
And the truth is, a few small tweaks could’ve made a big difference in the outcome.
It’s a good reminder that sometimes it’s not about changing your idea, it’s about how you present it.
