After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that we’re moving our Rooted & Rising community back to Facebook! First, I just want to say thank you. This community has never been about the platform it’s always been about the women inside it. I’m so grateful for each of you and the encouragement you’ve brought to this space. As much as I’ve enjoyed trying something new, I keep coming back to what worked best for us. Our conversations felt more natural, it was easier to connect with one another, and everything was simply in one place. A few reasons we’re making the move: 🌿 Facebook is already an app most of us use, so there’s one less app to keep up with. 🌿 Photos, conversations, and comments are easier to engage with. 🌿 Going live and sharing updates feels more seamless. 🌿 Our in-person events are already advertised on Facebook, so everything will be together. 🌿 Women at our events always ask about a FB group Most importantly, I want our community to feel connected not like another app we have to remember to check. No need to make the move just yet! But the earlier the better 😊 Over the rest of the week , I’ll be sharing the Facebook group link, inviting everyone over, and making sure no one gets left behind. Starting next Monday, we’ll officially be back in our Facebook group and that’s where all future discussions, updates, and events will be posted. Thank you for being willing to grow and adapt with me. I’m genuinely excited because I think this move will help us build an even stronger, more connected community. Turns out the fish weren’t the only thing we caught yesterday… we caught new friendships too. 🎣💚 Yesterday’s Girls Gone Fishing event was such a reminder that getting outside does something good for the soul. There’s just something about slowing down long enough to connect with other women that fills your cup in the best way. Community isn’t built overnight it’s built one conversation, one event, and one shared experience at a time. Watching women who were strangers at the beginning of the day leave smilin and planning to see each other again is exactly why I love doing this. A huge thank you to @1stphorm for giving me the opportunity to grow a community centered around health, connection, and becoming better together. It means more than I can put into words.
