Gut-friendly Lollipop
A sweet treat that reduces sugar cravings and heals the gut? Bone marrow candy does both. I found this recipe recently and I couldn't wait to share it with you all!
Ingredients:
- Grass-fed bone marrow, as needed
- Raw honey, 3 tablespoons
- Sea salt, a pinch
- Organic unsweetened chocolate, for coating
Instructions:
1- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place bone marrow bones on a tray and roast for about 20 minutes.
2- Remove from oven and scoop the marrow and all juices into a bowl — this liquid is nutrient‑dense.
3- Allow the marrow to cool a bit so it’s safe for blending (avoid adding boiling hot marrow into a plastic blender).
4- Blend the marrow until smooth.
5- Add about 3 tablespoons of raw honey (more or less to taste) and blend again.
6- Pour the mixture into lollipop molds, insert sticks, and sprinkle a touch of sea salt if desired.
7- Freeze for a couple of hours until fully set.
8- Melt the organic unsweetened chocolate, dip each frozen lollipop, and place in the fridge to firm.
9- Keep the finished lollipops in the fridge.
Enjoy the most nutrient‑dense candy in the world!
