Endurance routes
I thought I’d post this question because I suspect others may be wondering the same thing. I’m planning outdoor routes for longer endurance rides, and one of my favourites is mostly Z1/Z2—but it has a ~4-minute section that bumps me into Z5 (see elevation profile).
My question: does that short Z5 segment ruin the Z1/Z2 workout, or is it still essentially an endurance ride overall?
