The transition to full-time RV life has a lot of moving parts.
Here's the big picture checklist to help you see everything at once:

□ Build 3–6 months emergency fund
□ Pay off or minimize high-interest debt
□ Create a realistic road budget
□ Establish or grow remote income
□ Decide: sell house or rent it out?
LEGAL & LOGISTICS ✅
□ Choose your domicile state
□ Set up mail forwarding service
□ Update driver's license to new domicile
□ Register vehicles in new domicile state
□ Research health insurance options
□ Update voter registration
RV SELECTION ✅
□ Define your travel style and must-haves
□ Research RV types and brands
□ Take a test rental trip
□ Get a pre-purchase inspection on any used RV
□ Secure RV insurance
DOWNSIZING ✅
□ Start 3–6 months before departure
□ Sell, donate, store, or toss everything that won't fit
□ Digitize important documents
□ Cancel subscriptions and memberships
LIFE ON THE ROAD PREP ✅
□ Set up internet solution (Starlink + cell backup)
□ Learn basic RV maintenance

□ Do a test overnight (or week) trip in the RV
None of this has to be done all at once. One step at a time.
