This morning I was listening to the Glorify app, ( a free faith led app ) and something really resonated…
It was talking about how often we complain ( almost without realising )and how repeated complaining actually trains the brain to default to negativity.
Neuroscience shows that the thoughts we repeat most often strengthen those same neural pathways, meaning the more we complain, the more our brain learns to look for what’s wrong rather than what’s good.
That really challenged me as I think our internal voice is often quite negative..
So alongside our 21-day reset, I’m also choosing to fast from complaining and intentionally replace it with gratitude.
Each morning, I’ll be using my 5-minute journal to write down what I’m thankful for and setting the tone for the day before life gets loud.
Not from a place of guilt or pressure, but from awareness and intention.
Gratitude doesn’t ignore real life.
It just chooses not to let negativity lead.
🤍 Invitation:
If anyone feels led to join me, you’re so welcome to do this alongside me during the reset. Just comment below and we can be accountable to each other ( I’ve shared mine in the comments ) xx
