Neuroplasticity
Hey all! I wanted to talk about neuroplasticity and the importance of understanding it.
It’s your brain’s ability to physically change its own wiring at any age.
Every repeated thought, emotion, habit or experience strengthens or weakens connections between neurons.
That’s how old fear/anxiety/survival loops get locked in…
and how new safety, calm and freedom pathways get built.
The key thing to know and understand of all of this-
You’re constantly building a new one, whether you’re aware of it or not with your everyday thoughts/ feelings.
Taking the time to show up for yourself each and everyday to be aware of how you think and feel, breathe through the negative, send it love and gratitude because we have to love all parts of ourselves and then switch it to something positive, reframe it.
Doing this daily strengthens neural pathways and within a week you’ll find it easier to shift into positive thoughts and feelings.
It will require actual work and feel difficult at first because your body is wired and used to the opposite so naturally it will feel more comfortable to go there and give into those thoughts and feelings.
It does get easier. Anyone can do it! ✨❤️🧠
