💡 The Financial Calendar: The Secret to Fewer Money Surprises
One of the biggest reasons people feel stressed about money isn't because they don't earn enough. It's because they aren't prepared for the expenses that show up throughout the year. Think about it:🤔 • Insurance renewals • Property taxes • Vacations • Holiday spending • School tuition • Annual subscriptions • Car maintenance These expenses aren't really surprises. Most of them happen every year. The problem is that we forget about them until the bill arrives. That's why I encourage everyone to create a Financial Calendar. A Financial Calendar is simply a 12-month view of your upcoming financial obligations and goals. When you map out your year in advance, you can see what's coming and start saving a little each month instead of scrambling to find the money later. Imagine knowing exactly when your large expenses are due and having a plan in place before they arrive. That's the power of planning ahead. This week, spend 30 minutes reviewing the last 12 months of spending and identify the expenses that caught you off guard. Then add them to a calendar for the upcoming year. Small actions like this can create less stress, fewer money surprises, and more confidence in your financial future. I've created a Financial Calendar for you and you can access it here 👉 Annual Financial Calendar 👇 What's one annual expense that always seems to sneak up on you?
