Are Isaac and Rebekah part of the Nazarite vow?
Something was revealed to me after watching two videos. I will share the videos in another post.
“‘Now this is the law of the Nazirite: When the days of his separation are fulfilled, he shall be brought to the door of the tabernacle of meeting. And he shall present his offering to the Lord: one male lamb in its first year without blemish as a burnt offering, one ewe lamb in its first year without blemish as a sin offering, one ram without blemish as a peace offering,”
‭‭Numbers‬ ‭6‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The obvious connection is Isaac being offered has a burnt offering: “Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.””
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭22‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
After Abraham passed the test Yahuah offered a Ram.
Rebekah was willing to take the curse for Jacob deceiving his father:
“But his mother said to him, “Let your curse be on me, my son; only obey my voice, and go, get them for me.””
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭27‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Romans 12 says:
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
