How do you (typically) respond to conflict or hurt in your relationship?
Hey fam,
We talked a few days ago about what makes it hard to regulate during conflict.
Today, let's unpack what you typically tend to DO in conflict (so I know exactly what tools you need to shift the pattern): 🤔👇
I try to stay calm and explain my feelings, but eventually get angry
I try to stay calm and wait it out, but eventually get defensive or shut down
I avoid hard conversations and hope it resolves on it's own
I walk on eggshells and wait for "the right time."
I vent to friends/family to let off some steam
I feel confident in my capacity to stay calm, curious and connected - without losing myself - even when emotions run high.
