Introduction

Hey hey! 👋 I’m Tyrone, checking in from sunny, beautiful Jamaica. New to the real estate business (started this journey about 6 weeks ago by joining Subto).

I’m a former investment banker and high school math teacher. At present I lead professional development programmes for teachers and principals the the Ministry of Education and also serve as an Adjunct Professor in Math Education/ Education Administration for a local university.

My goal is to achieve financial freedom by expanding my real estate portfolio with cash flowing properties.

A little about me:

Numbers Guy ➝ Taught math up to 2nd-year university (calculus and linear algebra); 4 years valuing companies as an analyst/trader. Excel is my playground.

Problem Solver ➝ Whether at my job (a government agency with 27,000+ employees), in my community, or as a UNESCO consultant for Small Island Developing States where I worked on policies to tackle complex challenges facing developing countries, I’ve always been known as “the fixer.”

Connector and Supporter ➝I love linking people with opportunities. Teaching showed me the power of patience, clarity, and encouragement. Now bring that into real estate.

What I’m looking for in this awesome community:

Network, Network, Network – Because closed mouths don’t get fed (or does deals).
Sharpen My Skills – Especially in negotiation and closing. My goal: fewer “great leads” and way more “signed contracts”.
Deal Flow – I’m a deal magnet in training. If you’ve got deal, let’s talk. Too many deals? Nope, not a thing.
