I had a great run the last few weeks and I came up quite a bit but then I proceeded to destroy my bankroll because I exceeded the actual amount of energy I had to make good decisions. My day job requires a lot out of me and if I had been “smart” or disciplined, I would’ve stopped to consider how I was actually “feeling” and not what I desired. You see, I’ve been interviewing for a new day job. 8 interviews to be exact. They actually offered me the role but I had to turn it down because as much as I want/need the money, I just couldn’t make my son and daughter switch schools senior year. After making the right decision and turning down the job, I lost it. I diluted all the hard work I had put into playing well the last few weeks. My point is, even if I’m capable of being a great player, I’m not managing my resources correctly. I should’ve given myself some grace and taken some of that money to have some fun and relax. Instead I let my emotions and inability to look at myself as what I am - human. The better you take care of yourself, the more you will succeed

Looking for opinions or insight on gameplay style for the difference. I have booked 10 or so wins and many deep runs in under $400 entry Tournaments over the last 7 years when I established my bankroll as well as a couple cashes in the three sanctioned events. I have had far less success online. How do any of you play differently if you do?
