What to do when Reality Isn't Shifting to your Favor?
3 things to do when reality isn't shifting to your favor... "All you need are these: certainty of judgement in the present moment; action for the common good in the present moment; and an attitude of gratitude in the present moment for anything that comes your way." -Marcus Aurelius, Meditations 9.6 1) Certainty of Judgement in the Present Moment. 2) Action for the common good in the Present Moment. 3) An Attitude of Gratitude in the Present Moment. Certainty of Judgement in the Present Moment: Notice how "Present Moment" is repeated, your attention and awareness all determine the present moment. What you do in the Present matters most, not the past, not the future as they do not exist anymore. To give you an idea how important this is, understand that YOU were once an idea in Source's (God) Mind. So Source genuinely understood that this world is NOTHING WITHOUT YOU, that reality itself would not be the same without YOU IN IT, and as a result you were created. Go beyond the sadness, and the suffering to be present in the moment with your divine connection to the most high. Action for the common good in the Present Moment: The common good you can do that is best for you is to be selfish with clarity. I know it seems weird to read something like this, however the greatest good one can do is for themselves, to move past morals, and to quit denying your inner needs, and more importantly developing that skill of focus, attention, and awareness on ones self. Our attention is such a big currency that the modern world fights over it constantly, not just family, but copywriters, advertisements, the newest trends on social media, the brain is fed nonsense and thus it produces only nonsense. Being selfish with clarity means protecting your mental, emotional, and energetic clarity from anything or anyone that clouds it—even if that protection appears selfish to others. It’s about prioritizing your own understanding, peace, and purpose above external noise and demands. You no longer over-explain yourself to people who don’t seek to understand, and you willingly cut off what confuses, drains, or distracts you—whether that’s a person, habit, or idea. You say no without guilt, not because you’re cruel, but because you value the direction of your life more than temporary approval. You protect your time and headspace, knowing that clarity often lives in silence and solitude. And you accept the risk of being misunderstood, because your loyalty is to your path, not to others' projections. This isn’t arrogance—it’s clean focus, spiritual discipline, and refusing to let others write your story while your soul stays unread.
