How does Interior Design affect a client that uses that space.

To be honest, through this assignment I can truly say that I am experiencing my client’s emotional reactions throughout every step of the design process. It has been an amazing experience working alongside someone who gives me hands-on exposure to what real interior design projects feel like.

Since we began working on this project, I have seen my client’s emotions shift from excitement over new ideas to carefully deciding what he likes and dislikes.

I have realized that a person’s emotions toward interior design operate on a much deeper level than I expected.

Interior Design plays a major role in how someone feels from start to finish. There is excitement in the beginning of a project, anticipation in waiting to see the final result, and emotion in sharing ideas while also discussing certain details they may not fully agree with.

Overall, this experience is teaching me that interior design is not only about creating beautiful spaces, but also about understanding people emotionally. It is teaching me patience, the importance of listening carefully to my client’s ideas, and learning how to combine my creativity with their vision in order to create a space that truly reflects what they want and how they want to feel within it.
