"My goal is to get below 60 kg, but I’ve been struggling for a long time due to hormonal imbalances. I suspect I have high cortisol, estrogen dominance, and possibly some degree of insulin resistance. Despite eating less and exercising consistently, my body seems to be stuck in 'starvation mode'. It holds on to fat no matter what I do.
Over the years, I’ve tried several diets, but they either made me feel worse or slowed down my metabolism even more. I often feel tired, cold, and bloated, and my weight barely moves. I believe my metabolism has adapted to chronic stress and under-eating, making it extremely difficult to lose fat, especially around my belly and thighs.
That’s why I’m now exploring a more fruit-based, pro-metabolic approach – one that supports hormone balance, nourishes the body with easy-to-digest carbohydrates, and helps lower stress hormones like cortisol. I hope this way of eating – high in fruit sugars, with moderate protein and low fat – can help regulate my hormones, improve my thyroid function, and gently support fat loss without pushing my body into further stress.
