If you're already in SuperOne, please watch yesterday's presentation, particularly from around the 30โ35 minute mark when Alex and Andre come on. There were some brilliant updates and some pretty extraordinary stats shared, and then there was something we weren't allowed to record. They stopped the recording and privately showed us part of one of the marketing campaigns being prepared for the lead-up to the Golden Ball. And good grief. It was around four minutes long and looked like a proper movie trailer. There was a lion. On a boat. With a map. Then a pirate ship. Then humans. Then everyone was chasing a Golden Ball. There was trickery. There was a chase. At one point the lion thought he'd won and was actually holding what appeared to be a golden melon. Honestly, explaining it makes it sound completely ridiculous. ๐ Watching it was anything but.The production quality was phenomenal, and the really clever part was that you wouldn't watch it and immediately think: Oh, that's an advert for a football trivia game. You'd be thinking: What the hell is the Golden Ball? Is this a movie? What are they hunting for? And where do I find out what this is? Which, of course, is rather the point. We don't know when or where this particular piece will be released, so I'm not going to make things up. What we do know is that it forms part of the marketing being prepared around the Golden Ball. And if that's an indication of what's about to start appearing publicly...well...this could get very interesting indeed. ๐ Some people have been waiting four or five YEARS to see SuperOne reach this point. I've been watching it for ten months. And now we're not talking about something that's eventually going to start. It's starting. Actually, scrap that it's already happening. Right now. What began as a startup with a fairly basic game has evolved into something almost unrecognisable from where it started. The game is still at the centre of it, but now around it you've got AI, BytePlus technology, the fan ecosystem, the Golden Ball, global marketing, major football talent, Creator opportunities and an enormous amount of infrastructure that has quietly been built behind the scenes.
