Happy Pride month everyone!
Some updates: my partner and I moved places this past May, so it was a bit hectic. I feel like I sound like a broken record, but truly now feel like we've got some stability and I can pour more time back into this group for sure.
I'd like to share some progress on the Queer Nutrition Education Webinar series:
I'll have, it looks like, seven total educational webinars. These are for Queer individuals only, simply because, just like with school, I want there to be a heavy focus on LGBTQIA+ health and wellness and the specific things we are impacted by and how to navigate them. Some of the topics are: nutrition basics, metabolism, weight management, etc.
One thing to note about the webinar series- by the end of the series, you should feel 10000x more educated and confident to setup your own nutrition plan, regardless of goal, and see it through to goal completion. AND have that goal be sustained, ie not regaining back weight lost.
Part of my passion is education and I truly feel like each queer individual would benefit from this webinar series. They will be live, weekly pre-scheduled zoom calls. We will have resources/handouts and worksheets that correspond with the topics.
It will NOT be free, rather it is the chance to invest in your self and get 7+ hours of high-quality education that will last a lifetime.
