Adverbs of frequency -> how often something happens
100% of the time = ALWAYS
90% USUALLY
80% GENERALLY
70% OFTEN
50% SOMETIMES
30% OCCASIONALLY
15% SELDOM
10% HARDLY EVER
5% RARELY
0% NEVER
😍Usage:
✌️Example -> I visit my grandparents on the weekend.
-> I ALWAYS visit my grandparents on the weekend.
Adverbs of frequency stand between the SUBJECT (I) and the VERB (visit)
‼️‼️‼️VERB TO BE‼️‼️‼️
Example -> The store is open at 9 pm, I bet they have many customers!
-> The store is ALWAYS open at 9 pm, I bet they have many customers!
‼️When we use adverbs of frequency with the verb to be, we gotta be careful!
✌️Adverbs then stand between the VERB TO BE (is) and the VERB (open)
