20k Views, 1k Subs, 1 Client, 100 new Skool memebers, 500 new Insta followers — What I Learned in One YouTube Video
Hey everyone 👋 Quick update, and a big thank you to @Alexander VandeLaar for yesterday’s call. It felt great to reconnect after taking some space to reset and rethink my direction a bit. During that time, I worked with an amazing YouTube strategist, Dylan Reynolds, and the impact has been immediate. My very first video using his frameworks hit 1,000 subscribers and over 20,000 views within it's first week and I even sold my first offer and signed a paying client directly from that video within three days. That really drove something home for me: Thumbnails and titles are genuinely 80% of the entire game. You can create the most meaningful, polished, high-value video… but if it isn’t clickable, it effectively doesn’t exist. A few big lessons that landed: - Split test three completely different thumbnail ideas, not small tweaks, but genuinely different directions - Pull outlier concepts from other niches and reverse-engineer them into your story, proven psychology is more reliable than guessing - Use strong curiosity loops inside both the thumbnail and the script - Watch your CTR in the early hours: - My video held over 50% retention (with no b-roll), which blew me away — even Mr Beast often sits below 40% This has helped me understand how to turn my story into something actually compelling and bingeable, rather than “just another transformation video.” I finally feel like I can see how all the pieces fit together. Here’s the video if you want to check it out: “I Quit Sugar — From Pastry Chef Addicted to Sugar to Carnivore” https://youtu.be/5mcwu5K5rKg?si=rF-hXgfbXG_Lbwi9 And if you’re doing YouTube or even thinking about it, check out Dylan Reynolds’ YouTube channel — https://www.youtube.com/@creatorllaunch He's an absolute legend. You’ll learn a ton just from how he breaks down thumbnails, titles, hooks, and viewer psychology.
How I took my community out of the slums
30 days ago, I started a Spring fitness Challenge for September inside my community, Dangling in 825 After the Hormozi Tsunami, I had to get back to work... Now at the end of the 1st cohort, we have risen back to a more respectable 480 ranking, with some more work to do... Starting another cohort on Monday October 6th, with a new group... and incentivizing current cohort to invite friends along for next group. and in November too which I hope will be a bumper group as it will start with the Tiered feature active and Running some more Ads with some more UGC in the Flywheel. Also... Got my 🔥 back. @Dan Harrison

Getting Good at This Coaching Thing...
So I was on a call with a guy today, and he told me, "I've never even thought about what the future could look like because I don't even know what I'm doing tomorrow." I was able to guide him through a breathing exercise with some guided questions to have him seeing a year out grilling in his backyard with VIVID detail about what was around him and what was different in his life. THAT... was amazing, and I honestly attribute that to how things are done here in this community, and the initial draw in almost a year ago now that had me say YES to joining in and starting this business for real. I've definitely had challenges, and am still working through some limiting beliefs on sales... but the cool thing is, I'm MILES ahead of where I was a year ago, and it's the consistent work I've done in here that has gotten me to a place where I can build the right systems (with the help of my man @Aj Gonzalez), and truly just serving unconditionally inside my community, relentlessly helping dads become their best selves. What I experienced on the call today, and on others that I've been on, was honestly just magical... Here is the post that a guy just shared in my community after our call today. I've been building the right thing... with integrity... in the right spaces... to build the business that I have been seeing in my head years from now. So thanks to @Dan Harrison, @Alexander VandeLaar, @Gabby Domiray, @Luis Hiluy and @Aj Gonzalez for the way that you do things, and I'm also excited about all the fun future of this community, and continuing to build out amazing things with you all! And eventually, I'll find my way on a retreat in the future, haha.

The Identity Shift No One Can Prepare You For.
As I record this, I’m sitting at $31,250 for the month. A number I once thought would make me feel like I’d “made it.” But here’s the truth i've found here: The hardest part about growth isn’t figuring out the next step in business —It’s letting go of who you were before the leap. In the next month, I’ll no longer be a firefighter. I’ll be a coach. And that’s… terrifying. Not because I don’t believe in this mission. But because stepping into who you’re meant to be means surrendering the identity that got you here. Even when that identity was your safety net. I’m learning that to truly serve the people I’m here to help, I can’t just BE them anymore. I have to lead them. So if you’re here building something…If you’re looking in the mirror and feeling the resistance… Know this: You’re just standing at the edge of your next identity... and the only thing in your way is your willingness to let go. You can build the life you want. The only permission slip you need is your own. Talk soon, -Robbie @Aj Gonzalez @Dan Harrison @Alexander VandeLaar @Gabby Domiray @Luis Hiluy
