Daily Question: What are we creating today? Big Idea Your “survival brain” reads new/important as risky, so it delays. That’s protection, not laziness. We’ll use tiny reps + quick triggers to move anyway. 60-Second Breakdown - Protection, not sabotage → limbic system says “later.” - Dopamine gap → comfort now beats completion later. - Amygdala hijack → overwhelm overrides planning. - Identity conflict → old story vs future self. - Perfectionism = procrastination in Gucci boots. Framework: S.T.A.R.T. - See the fear (≤7 words): “Fear: people will judge me.” - Tiny rep (2–10 min): smallest real version. - Anchor reward: checkbox, text “shipped,” 2-min walk. - Reduce risk: private draft, ugly first pass. - Time-box: set 10:00; stop when it rings. On-Air Action (1 min) Write: Today I’m creating: ____ → to get: ____ → done by: [time]. Name the fear. Set a 10-minute timer. Do the tiniest real rep now. Before we can change anything in our lives, we have to see clearly… especially the difference between being busy and being productive. In this episode, I share a real moment from my own life — how a morning I blocked off for a vulnerable, meaningful video turned into two hours of “productive avoidance.” Gear cleaning. SD card sorting. Firmware updating. It looked productive… but none of it moved the mission. That’s when I learned this truth: 👉 Busy burns calories, but productivity builds outcomes. So today, we’re using the A.W.A.R.E. Check to help you catch yourself in real time: A — Acknowledge W — Why this task? A — Align R — Reduce to the smallest deliverable E — End time (set the timer) This one framework will expose the moments where you’ve been orbiting the real work instead of doing it. **📝 Day 1 Journal Prompt: Where am I using busyness to avoid a feeling?** Fear? Uncertainty? Judgment? Boredom? Name the place — then name the feeling. 🔥 Your Turn: Awareness Audit (60 seconds) Write down 3 things you did today. Label each: B = Busy or P = Productive.
