Inheritance
Psalm 28:9 " The Lord is their strength, and He is the saving refuge of His anointed. Save Your people, and bless Your inheritance; Shepherd then also, and bear them up forever"
It is so powerful to change your thoughts to know you are an anointed inheritance!
If you think about it, when you have something of value that you are going to leave behind for your family one day, you are going to treasure and care for it. A lot of people have a "display" cabinet where they place their sentimental items passed down from previous generations. Things like great-grandfather's watch, great-grandmother's tea set, or a mother's wedding dress for her daughter...we all have something we look after and keep safe so it can go to the next generation.
We are God's anointed inheritance 💛- imagine the love, care, and protection He is willing to pour out on us! He already gave His only Son to die on the cross for us! He wants to see us succeed; He wants to bless us; He wants to see us walk in freedom; He wants to see us run our race, honoring Him. He cannot wait to say to each of us, "Well done, good and faithful servant"
Run your race but never forget who you are and what you are to Him. Make sure you run your race aligned to who you are in Him
