Trying to decide between Traditional and Self-Publishing?
Hey fellow authors, Here is a blog post I just received from PNWA, a professional writers' group here in the PNW. If you've been trying to decide which route to take, you'll want to read their blog. "The main difference between signing a contract with a traditional publisher and self-publishing your book is who owns the rights. If you sign with a traditional publisher, they will own the right to print and sell your book. Your contract may also give the publisher the rights to ebooks, audiobooks, foreign rights, and screenplay adaptations. If you self-publish, you retain all rights." But beyond who owns the rights, each path has pros and cons. Click the link below to read the full article. Drop what you've learned about publishing in the comments below1 https://www.pnwa.org/blogpost/1213368/PNWA-Blog

Confused about book formatting?
You're not alone! In my latest podcast episode, I clear up the confusing terminology around book formatting: one person says "formatting," another says "typesetting," and yet another calls it "interior design," leaving authors unsure which service they actually need. I break down the five different names for what happens inside your book so you understand what each one means and can confidently hire the right professional. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txeOtXBnWCA
