Hi All!
We had a great Author's Brew Coffee Chat today.
Fantastic questions came about such as, "What stories should I put into my book" and "What are endorsements? How do I go about receiving endorsements?"
One of our members shared the checklist her publisher gave her, saying, "They are telling me I have to do all the work!"
I also have some great resources from this meeting, which I will share here (and in the resources section of our community)
A People's Guide to Publishing by Joe Biel for anyone who wants the start-to-finish process and advice from a Portland, Oregon publisher. I found this book while I was on a cruise and stopped at an indie bookstore in Ketchican (and I'm from Portland!)
