Looking for pointers in Mixing and Broadcast parameters!
Hello everyone! I was wondering is there a go to formatting guide for all things TV placement wise? I used to work in radio and it was pretty standard, usually wanted .WAV between -3 and -6 sound peak wise but that’s as far as I knew.
Breaking into this industry, I was wondering is there a good guide to go by? I want to know the general formatting desires for broadcast and I’d rather not make a mistake to have to learn it!
I also wondered if anyone had any pointers for really nailing that commercial sound in the mix. I’ve heard heavy compression is a good start but I really struggle to nail that clear and punchy sound that’s so uniform in things like reality TV.
Any help or guidance would be immensely appreciated!

PTN Pulse is the starting point for serious creators in music and A/V. Real drops, real rhythm, no ego. Just signal... before the Broadcast.
