Dudes and dudets, I got my first Christmas Lights job yesterday.
They asked how much I charge by foot.
I googled it real quick.
I decided to go with $3 a foot. You can charge anywhere from $3-$5 a foot.
Some of the major brands, with a small army and genie lifts, charge $8 per foot.
If someone googled for help hanging Christmas lights in there neighborhood, and YOU were the first person they saw, you could literally charge whatever you want.
Charge at the very least between $2 and $5 to even be considered competition.
When you set up your brand with me, you're customers are the ones that happily pay for the best.
They're not looking for cheap and easy.
Choose a service to provide, build your brand as one of the top brands out there, and charge what you deserve.
For example:
If you Google "handyman in Granbury Texas" you'll find yelp, home advisor, thumbtack, the BBB, etc... but before all that, is MY BUSINESS.
Top of the list, baby.
Anyone can be the best, you just need to believe you are.
