The Gift of Inconvenience
Thanks for inspiring this train of thought. The ‘embrace the suck’ mentality.
I’m currently stuck in a foreign city with a $1000 vehicle bill. Burning all day away on the waterfront waiting for them to fix my wheels/house. Haha
I’ve been nonstop and wanting more time for ProSpirit since being back on the road- oh look! The universe is offering me time!
ALL roadblocks and inconveniences are opportunity is disguise.
  • Delayed trip or traffic jam? Practicing patience and meditation time. Wander down a new street, call the friend you’ve been ‘too busy’ for.
  • Feeling lonely? The whole world becomes a playground of starting bizarre convos. Get weird with it. Ask ‘Have you heard any rumours?’ (People usually have something to say 😂) say it like it is- ‘Hey, I’m finding new friends , any suggestions on place to meet people?’ It takes pressure off the stranger , yet maybe THEY fill the gap and want to be the friend, life hack😏
  • Creative blocks? Go get inspired. Get outside your bubble and allow yourself to be totally renewed. Sometimes you just need a brain break.
  • Relationship block? Have the scary convo! All dispute is an opportunity for greater closeness when navigated with intent of greater harmony. Again- ‘us vs problem’ not ‘you vs me.’ Mindset. The argument is the actual true reflection of your connection. Anybody can have convenient companions. It’s those who can argue and disagree in a healthy way together that grow true intimacy. 🤙
What inconveniences have you used as growth opportunities? How have you turned a roadblock into a side quest?
