Nobody has time to rewatch recordings. So I automated the summary.
Most teams record meetings and never go back to them. The recording sits there, nobody has time to relisten, and half the action items get forgotten.
Built a simple automation that watches a Google Drive folder, picks up any new audio file, transcribes it automatically, then passes the transcript to an AI that returns a structured summary with main points, action items, follow ups, and sentiment all formatted as clean JSON.
The whole output lands in Notion as a new page instantly. No copy pasting, no manual notes, no chasing people for what was agreed.
The part that saved the most time was date tagging action items automatically based on relative language in the transcript like "by end of week" or "next Monday."
Do you process your meeting recordings automatically or is that still a manual step in your workflow?
