Hey fam, I posted this in the original Project 300 Discord earlier this year, but it’s a key piece in getting the most out of Zone 2 workouts and I wanted to share it here for the new tribe members. A little backstory for those not familiar with Zone 2… If you use a smart device to track your workouts you’re all likely familiar with your heart rate data. Most devices from an Apple Watch to a Garmin or Oura ring tell you what zone you’re in. But do you understand what they mean? I created this infographic to help break it down. The key takeaway: Zone 2 builds your engine and endurance. Today your heart rate may spike way out of Zone 2 when you run forcing you to walk to stay in the zone. Soon, you can be running a 9m mile at the same heart rate 🙌🏻 The next step is adjusting your device to input your RHR, resting heart rate so it accurately creates the right zones for you. Apple Watch does this automatically, but others may not. If you need help, post what kind of device you use and I can show you how to update it!
