I recently had an interview for a role. The interview was being run by HR, and not by someone from the team I will be working with. The person seemed like a junior member of staff. I didn't have any time to ask real questions, and I found it strange that they recorded the interview, and a week went by, and I heard nothing. I emailed this morning at 9am, to find out what had happened. ( I had already assumed, they went with someone else). At 11am, I received a rejection email.
I believed that there were a few red flags... however, I don't know if I am over reacting. It's so hard out there. I am applying myself as much as I can, but when I have to chase to know the outcome of my interview - this is a major red flag for me. Especially when the company is small.
