Sometimes, we are in trouble, our first instinct is to look to our relationships, money, places, and habits to relieve the pain.
There may even be times where we want a pity party, for others to feel sorry for us.
We may even engage in bad habits as a way to ease the pain of a difficult situation.
However, we should pray when we experience trouble.
Praying allows us to leave our burdens with Christ, instead of wallowing in doubt, misery, anxiety, or depression.
So, let us be quick to pray when we are struggling or hurting.
And let us be quick to sing praises of gratitude during times of joy.
