We should guard our hearts.
What is in our hearts determines the course of our lives.
Let us be mindful of our relationships, associations, what we read, what we watch, what we listen to, and what we are thinking.
It will take effort to guard our hearts from the wrong people and to think better thoughts.
So, let us make the effort to protect our minds, the way that we think and our hearts, the center of our emotional being.
