Thoughts about improving STR
I was trying to do some figuring on how to improve STR. Let me run these thoughts by you and see what you think. Here is a simple example I choose to use for no particular reason.
Levi's 505 Jeans Men's Size 32x32 Blue Used Condition.
539 sold, and 1800+ listed = 29.9% STR ( Really not to bad for a simple pair of Levi's 505 NOTE: Size makes big difference on STR)
Now lets say I want to improve my STR (or my odds of Selling these Jeans). If I adjust my price to $19 max on my search, I end up getting only 624 listed. My thoughts are technically there are still 539 sold.
(Items Under $19) 539 sold + 624 listed = 86% STR
(Items Under $18.50) 539 sold + 550 Listed = 98% STR
(Items Under $18) 539 Sold + 541 Listed = 99.6% STR
What are your thoughts on my calculations? Can a person use calculations like this to improve the STR of their items, or at least price their items to get improved results?
