I attended the Selling Online webinar this week, and it was, well, nothing short of life changing. Yes, it was long - and exhausting, but I took copious notes.
I've watched a few Russell videos online in the past, but this was my first LIVE. I had already set up my own one-to-many workshop prior to attending, and launched it LAST Saturday. 17 sign ups, 2 attended, Zero sales. I sucked, but so did my set up!. But I had already scheduled it to happen EVERY Saturday (including today). So with only one day to go live again, and two fists of notes, I had to rebuild my whole webinar. Yikes!
Here's what happened. First, it took 18+ hours to essentially re-write everything! I also had to re-work the sales page, the automations - just EVERYTHING. Was I ready? No, but I had 9 people sign up, so I was going!
Guess how many people showed up... Zero. But that's ok, because I still hadn't done a walk through, yet, after making the changes. Thank God nobody showed, because half the slides had somehow gotten rearranged! How did I figure it out? I did the webinar anyway - an audience of just me!
After another 4 hours today, all the slides are back in order, tweaked again, and I can't wait until next Saturday!
Can I be transparent with you? After walking through the full presentation, I actually saw. For myself, that the value of what I was offering was exponentially greater than I was going to sell it for! But not anymore! Had it noy been for Russell's training, I never would have seen it!
So, if there was a moral to this story, it would be twofold... First, just take action! As Myron says, You wont sell 100% of what you don't offer (or something like that). And secondly, what you have inside of you is likely way more valuable than even you know - but you won't see it until you do it!
Happy Easter, y'all!
