I was on a call today in my mastermind.
One of the guys shared a URL for people to register for his masterclass.
He said it out loud, nice and clear.
So I did what any normal human would do.
I typed it in.
And instead of landing on his page, I got a GoDaddy lander.
Not even an error page.
A “this domain is parked” page.
You wouldn't BELIEVE how often this happens..
Way more than people realize.
What sucks is when this happens, nobody raises their hand and says,
“Hey, I think your URL is broken.”
They don’t troubleshoot.
They ain't adding www.
They don’t guess at https.
They just peace out.
They assume they typed it wrong..
or that something feels off..
and they go about their day.
That’s a lost lead, registration, sale, application.. etc.
A silent failure you’ll never see in analytics.
This is one of those problems that hides in plain sight.
If you’re a business owner, you’ve got to check this stuff yourself.
Not just once.. but anytime you launch something new or make changes.
If you’re an agency owner, this isn’t optional.
This is your responsibility.
You owe it to your clients to make sure every version of their URL resolves cleanly..
especially the ones they say out loud in CTAs
And you owe it to them to know when it breaks later,
so you can prevent downtime, lost leads, and lost sales.
Because the most dangerous funnel problems aren’t the obvious ones.
They’re the ones that sound right…
…but don’t work.
