Introduce Yourself
Hi everyone, I'm Mary Littleford, Faith & Purpose Coach, Author and the one who built this space. I'm from Washington, DC. I serve women and men who are ready to move from feeling stuck, anxious, or depressed into a place of wholeness and purpose, rooted in faith. A lot of the people I walk with are rebuilding their sense of identity and learning to trust God with the parts of their story that feel the hardest to carry. If that's you, you're exactly who this space was built for. I didn't build Pressed, Not Crushed from a textbook. I built it from having been pressed down myself, by anxiety, by depression, by seasons that didn't let up, and from watching God meet me there every time. There's a specific night a few years back that changed everything for me, and I look back on it now with gratitude, not reluctance, because of how clearly I can see God's hand in it. That night is part of why this community exists. So when I say pressed but not crushed, I mean it. It's not just a name I picked. It's the truest thing I know about my own story, and it's what I want for every single person who walks through this door. Now it's your turn. Create a post, select 'Introduce Yourself' as the category and share: your name, where you're joining from, and what brought you here today. This only works as a real conversation, so don't be shy. Glad you're here.

You've Arrived Early 😊
Hi friend, If you're reading this, you signed up before we've even officially opened, and that means something to me. Thank you for trusting this space before it's fully built out. Here's what to expect between now and launch. I'll be adding things steadily over these next few weeks: content, resources, pieces of what's coming. Don't be surprised to see new things show up here even before we officially kick off. But here's the important part. Unless I tell you otherwise, Pressed, Not Crushed doesn't officially launch until the end of October. So if it feels a little quiet or still in progress in the meantime, that's expected. You're not missing anything, you're just early. I'd love for you to look around, get familiar with the space, and settle in. When we do kick off, I want you to already feel at home here. Grateful you're walking in early with me. Mary

Welcome to Pressed, Not Crushed
If you're here, you already know what it feels like to be pressed down. Maybe by anxiety. Maybe by depression. Maybe by a season that just won't let up. Welcome. I am so glad you are here. I'm Mary Littleford, Faith & Purpose Coach. And before we go any further I want you to know something about who I am and why I built this community. I was depressed and I didn't know it. I was the woman who was functioning on the outside and falling apart on the inside. Going to work. Taking care of everyone else. Showing up in all the right places. But inside something was dim. Something was off. And I didn't have the words for it yet. I just knew I was tired in a way that went deeper than sleep could reach. I lived the Mental struggle. The thoughts that wouldn't quiet. The fog that made everything feel impossible. I carried the Emotional weight. The numbness. The grief I hadn't let myself feel. I felt it in my Physical body in ways I didn't understand until much later. And I walked through a Spiritual silence so thick that I wasn't sure God could hear me anymore. I had to find my way back. Back to myself. Back to my faith. Back to the house of God. That journey took years. It was not easy. And there were seasons when I didn't know if I was healing or just enduring. But I kept going. And I kept becoming. I didn't build this space from a textbook. I built it from having been there myself, and from watching God meet me in it. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 says it best: pressed on every side, yet not crushed. That is not a metaphor here. That is the whole point. I recently took the MEPS Check, the self-assessment I created for people like us, and I scored 93%. Not because I have arrived. But because the work is real and the work is worth it. And I am living proof that where you are today is not where you have to stay. I built Pressed, Not Crushed because I needed a place like this and it didn't exist. I needed a community of people who understood what it meant to be in the middle of something hard and still believe that God had something good on the other side of it. People who were still standing. Still believing. Still becoming.
