Parents’ opinions
Merry sunshine, everyone! I have one parent who regularly insists we do things her way and accommodate (indulge) her child (4 years). The child is aggressive to other kids and destructive to the classroom. The parent’s insistence is usually directed at the teacher in front of the class. Of course, we have to enforce our rules and regulations to ensure the safety and needs of the class and program. I have had conferences with this parent to direct complaints to me and how it is inappropriate to yell at teachers especially in front of children. To no avail. Has anyone had a parent like this that just couldn’t cooperate? How did you handle this?
