Walk up to the pulpit
What do you do with the time as you walk up to the pulpit. Typically, there is some shuffling around, musicians putting instruments down, children walking out for children's church, people getting their bibles out.
I see pastors say something about the music, sometimes a lighthearted joke, sometimes it is straight to introducing the passage. What do you do with this time?
