Thursday Thought - What Makes a Skool “About” Page Convert?
One of the reasons I am changing my about page information for the 3rd time That about page has to have some good and straight forward stuff in it. I have changed my pages more than once because I thought it sounded good until I ready the facts on "about pages" Here is what I learned Most About pages don’t CONVERT because they read like a BIO A converting About page does 5 simple things: It Clearly Says Who It’s For Within the first 2–3 lines, people should know: “Is this for me or not?” If it’s vague, they leave. Clarity converts. 2. It States the Outcome Not what you “talk about.” Not your passion. The result. What problem gets solved here? People join outcomes. 3. It Shows Structure Tell them: • What they’ll find inside • How it works • What to do first Confusion kills conversions. 4. It Builds Credibility (Briefly) Why should someone trust this space? Experience, results, perspective — short and direct. Not a resume. 1. It Ends With Direction Don’t just describe the space. Tell them what to do next. Example Introduce yourself. Start here. Post this. Go here ** Communities grow when members know their first step. Biggest Mistake Writing an About page about yourself, instead of the transformation. You're About page is a landing page....not a diary. If someone read your About page right now… Would they immediately understand: • Who it’s for • What they’ll gain • What to do next If not, it needs tightening.

👑 Daily Habits of Top Skool Community Leaders
I saw this and thought I'd share this with everyone Here’s what top Skool owners do every single day 1. They Check the Community First (Not Social Media) Before scrolling Instagram or TikTok… They check...New posts...Comment...Questions....Wins Community comes first. 2. They Respond Fast (Especially to New Members) First impressions matter. Top leaders reply within hours and sometimes minutes. Speed = belonging. 3. They Start Conversations (Not Just Posts) They don’t post and disappear. They:... Ask follow-ups Tag members Keep threads alive Engagement is intentional. 4. They Recruit Daily (Quietly) Every day, they .... Comment in other spaces... DM thoughtfully....Build relationships Growth is a habit, not a campaign. 5. They Spotlight Members They regularly post: Wins + Progress + Good questions Recognition = retention. 6. They Study What Works They track + Which posts get replies + What gets ignored + Who’s most active Then they double down. 7. They Protect the Vibe They remove negativity. They redirect confusion. They reinforce standards. Culture is curated. Question..... Which habit will you start TODAY?

Tip of the day - RULES BEFORE YOU DM ANYONE
RULES BEFORE YOU DM ANYONE (Important) A couple of simple rules and suggestions I picked up about hopping in those dm'st If you missed our Sunday Reset, we discussed getting into the dms, as a way to help grow your community. These can also be useful tools that can be helpful in building up momentum before you launch Either way, here are some useful approaches First - Warm them up (critical ....ya dont wanna seem like a saleman) Before Dm-ing them, like their post Leave a genuine comment (This gets them familiar with you) (Optional) Follow them from their profile All of this them get familiar with you before you go all willy nilly in their dm's Secondly, never lead with “join my group” Lead with getting familiar by being helpful or engaging with commenting. It's ok to do this for a day or two before sending a dm. Once you've done all of this, then you're of ok to send that dm Here are some dm templates that may help if you're having trouble breaking the ice. DM TEMPLATES VERSION 1: Supportive + Leader Energy (My Favorite) Hey, I saw your post about (Your interest) That’s the niche I'm building my school on. it’s for those who has asked the same questions about how to get started. I'm building a community with someone like you in mind. If you want, I can send you the link. VERSION 2: Casual + Confident Hey! I saw your post and it reminded me of so many people in my community. I run (your skool) for those who are figuring things out from scratch or want to get a more in-depth info on how this all works. I can send you the link if you'd like me to share it with you? These are just a couple of ways you can approach dms to gain new members. Have your own version? Share the version you use and help a newbie with what works for you

Skool News Update - How referrals can become a gold mine
Hey Its Mae with a Skool news update. Todays live covered how important your outside resources for marketing to your success on Skool. It's been shown in the analytics of every high earning community that their outside resource played a major role in bringing in members. Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok, Pinterest, and even Linkedin are tools we all should be using to pull members to you. Also another discussion mentioned today is how some are making money from referrals alone. Did you know that when you refer someone and they start making money on Skool, you get a whopping 40% commission. That will cut your fees on skool in half or eliminate them all together, depending on how many referrals you have. One community builder made over 6,000 last month in referrals alone. There are others making even more than that. With Skool being considered still new and Skool wanting to build its community of members to 1 million users or more by the end of the year, it may be a smart choice to refer as many users as possible. You can find your referral link in the affiliates tab, which you can find by pressing your profile image to see the drop down menu If you'd like to watch this live, check it out here
