One of the hardest things to do is wait on God when we want answers now. Yet many times, our impatience can cause us to step outside of God’s perfect plan and settle for something He never intended for us.
Abraham and Sarah are a powerful example. God promised them a son, but when the promise seemed delayed, they took matters into their own hands. What God had promised, He was still going to do—but they became impatient with the process.
📖 Isaiah 40:31“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
📖 Ecclesiastes 3:11“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time…”
📖 Psalm 27:14“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”
Sometimes the delay is not God’s denial. God may be preparing you, protecting you, or positioning the right people and opportunities for your future.
✨ While you wait:• Stay faithful in prayer• Continue serving God• Prepare for what you’ve been praying for• Trust His process even when you don’t understand it
Remember: God’s timing is never late. The blessing that comes from His hand is always worth the wait.
Question for today: What area of your life is God teaching you patience in right now?
