Writing with AI: Structure, Creativity, and Control
This class is a standalone project focused on using AI to support writing — from outlining and structure to creativity and refinement. While the examples are writing-based, the underlying principles apply broadly to AI use in automation, bots, workflows, and systems design. This class exists to demonstrate intentional AI use — not as a replacement for human judgment, but as a support tool guided by clear context and purpose. Prompt Preview: What You’ll Learn When You Join Inside my community, you learn how to use AI intentionally — starting with the right context so the output actually serves your goal. Here’s a condensed preview of the kinds of prompts we work with: 🔹 Context First (Foundation) “Before we begin, ask me the key questions needed to understand my goal, audience, tone, and constraints.” 🔹 Structure Before Drafting “Create a clear outline based on my premise and objective so the writing process feels focused instead of overwhelming.” 🔹 Creative Support (Not Replacement) “Analyze this section for emotional impact and pacing, and suggest where clarity or tension can be improved.” 🔹 Nonfiction & Coaching Clarity “Help me turn my knowledge into a clear framework my audience can understand and apply.” 🔹 Voice & Control “Revise this to improve clarity and flow while maintaining my original voice and intent.” When you join, you don’t just get prompts — you get systems. ✔ Context-setting frameworks that improve AI output✔ Ready-to-use prompt structures for multiple use cases✔ Standalone AI projects demonstrating real-world application✔ Guidance on when and when not to use AI✔ A human-first approach to AI, not hype or shortcuts Each class is an independent project designed to show how AI can support thinking, creativity, and execution across different domains — writing, coaching, and beyond. Lillian Soto Author • Educator • AI Strategist Independent AI demonstration projects “This pilot class is a free demonstration of how I approach using AI with intention.

AI as a Practical Assistant
One of the most underrated uses of AI is planning. Not writing for you. Not “thinking” for you. Just helping you organize what’s already in your head. I use ChatGPT like an assistant when: • Planning trips - Outlining workdays - Structuring projects - Breaking down chaotic ideas into steps Travel Itinerary Prompt Use this when you already know where you’re going but need structure. Prompt: “I’m traveling to Miami for 3 days. Day 1 is arrival and light activities. Day 2 is beach + one nice dinner. Day 3 is checkout and shopping. Create a realistic itinerary with time blocks and suggestions, but keep it flexible.” Daily Assistant / Time-Blocking Prompt Great for busy days when your brain is overloaded. Prompt: “Act as my personal assistant for today. I have 6 hours of focused work, 2 meetings, and personal errands. Help me time-block my day realistically, including breaks and buffer time.” Project Outline Prompt Perfect for creators, students, and entrepreneurs. Prompt: “I’m starting a project called [project name]. My goal is [goal]. My deadline is [date]. Break this into clear phases and weekly action steps.”

AI Research & Productivity Mastery
AI adoption has moved past the “experiment” phase. Most people and businesses now use it in very practical, everyday ways. When you step back and look at usage patterns across companies, schools, and individuals, several clear trends appear. Part 1 – AI for Research & Information Summaries Case Scenario You are writing a 350-word research paper on political polarization in the United States. Instead of reading 15 articles manually, you will use AI tools to collect and summarize sources quickly. Best AI Research Sites 1. Perplexity AI Best for research with citations. What it does well: - pulls sources from the web - provides citations - summarizes multiple sources Example prompt: Explain the causes of political polarization in the United States with academic sources. Why it’s good: Students can trace the sources, which is important for school assignments. 2. Consensus AI Best for scientific and academic research. What it does: - searches peer-reviewed papers - summarizes research findings - shows evidence from studies Example prompt: What do academic studies say about the causes of political polarization? 3. ChatGPT Best for breaking down difficult concepts. Use it for: - simplifying topics - outlining papers - summarizing articles Example prompt: Summarize the main causes of political polarization in simple language and create a paper outline. Exercise for Students Task: Research one cause of political polarization and summarize it in 3 bullet points. Steps: 1. Search the topic in Perplexity AI 2. Confirm research with Consensus 3. Ask ChatGPT to simplify the explanation Part 2 – AI as a Productivity Assistant Case Scenario You are overwhelmed with work, school, and personal responsibilities. Your goal is to use AI to: - organize your week - schedule tasks - plan a project PART 2: Best AI Productivity Tools 1. Notion AI

🚀 Stop Overcomplicating AI — Use Repl.it
Everyone wants to build an AI tool… But they get stuck installing Python.Setting up environments.Opening ports.Breaking their computer. There’s a simpler way. I use Replit to prototype and deploy tools directly from my browser. Here’s why it matters for Skool builders: ✅ Build frontend + backend in one place✅ Host APIs (Python, Node, etc.)✅ Connect OpenAI✅ Deploy instantly✅ Share a live link with your community No DevOps headaches. No “it works on my machine” problems. For example: - Contractor CRM MVP - AI Homework Helper - Lead capture bots - Prompt generators - Mini SaaS tools You can build → test → deploy → drop the link in Skool. That’s speed. Now let’s be real… Replit is amazing for:• MVP testing• Teaching beginners• Prototyping fast• Community tools It’s NOT for:• Enterprise HIPAA-level systems• Massive production scaling Build smart. Validate fast. Upgrade later. https://replit.com/refer/sotoaljj
