Title: Subdomain vs. Subdirectory for Google Ads: Which is better for GTM tracking?
Hi everyone,
I'm setting up multiple landing pages for a client's Google Ads campaigns. I want to keep everything under one GTM container and one Google Ads account for streamlined tracking.
Which structure do you prefer for efficiency and data accuracy?
Main concerns:
  1. Which setup is easier to avoid cross-domain tracking issues in GTM?
  2. Does using a subdomain affect Quality Score compared to the root domain?
  3. For scaling (10+ pages), which one is easier to manage for global tags?
What’s your "gold standard" setup? Thanks!
