Hey everyone — looking for some experienced eyes on a geo-fencing + Meta ads project.
I manage ads for a multi-location RV dealership group. We have local RV shows coming up (fairgrounds / expo centers), and the goal is to:
• Capture in-market RV shoppers at the show• Retarget them immediately after• Drive scheduled dealership visits / walkthroughs, not just leads
What I’m currently thinking:
- Geo-fence show locations during event hours
- Build custom audiences from mobile location data
- Run post-event Meta campaigns (Messages + Website)
- Optimize for qualified downstream events (tour scheduled / showed)
Where I’d love help from people who’ve done this at scale:
- Best geo-fencing providers that integrate cleanly with Meta (or best workaround)
- Recommended radius + dwell time settings for RV shows
- How long you typically retain + sequence these audiences
- Any gotchas with attribution, CAPI, or overlap with existing retargeting
- Creative angles that work best post-show (“missed the show” vs “show specials extended”)
