In this session, we will: 1) Reflect on personal experiences with bias and microagressions 2) Identify the common patterns of gender bias 3) Analyze how well-intentioned comments (e.g., "protecting" a mother from a heavy workload) can create systemic barriers to women’s advancement. 4) Translate "Gut Feelings" into Objective Observations: Move from feeling that a situation is "off" to being able to name the specific bias pattern at play. Hi, everyone. As discussed last week, I will be traveling on Wednesday and Thursday next week, so we will need to adjust the schedule. In addition, with the change in clocks in Europe and Australia that make time differences worse, we have some difficult decisions to make. I am listing two options below.
