First Great Pottery Throwdown Challenge!
Hey!
Have you been watching TGPT? Well, I am addicted, so I decided to join in the fun (I wish I lived there so I could try out for the show - I would sooo do it!). The first challenge was to design and throw a Winter themed Soup Turine, ladle, and 2 matching bowls depicting something from your family. If you don’t know, we live on a farm and have lots of chickens, ducks, and geese (among other furry friends 😉 on the farm!). So, my soup turine depicts a few of my feathered friends on it!
I have not thrown on my wheel in a bit, due to back surgeries, etc - was nice to see that I could do it! I hope it survives the kiln - not finished til it survives the glaze kiln! Crossing fingers and toes!
