ABCs of stress management : Alignment, Boundaries, and Community. I'll share what these mean to me:
Alignment - I am clear on my short list of my top priorities - so it becomes very clear what I need to say NO to (being overcommitted is one of my top stressors
Boundaries - Once it is clear what I need to say no to so that I can say YES to the most important things, I have to go talk to all of the people affected by the no's and just be clear on the implications and the non-negotiables - avoiding guilt and peer pressure comes for the alignment above.
Community - Now that alignment is clear and boundaries are established, I can focus on the community who will be energizing and make those YES's turn into action.
