Does moving to a "cheaper" country actually lowers your monthly expenses?
Not automatically.
The assumption is simple: cross a border into a country with a lower cost of living, spend less money.
The variable is not the country -> it's the lifestyle you intend to keep.
If you move abroad and rebuild the same life in a new location, the savings are going to be minimal. Some things will cost you more than they did at home. Some categories will surprise you.
The country does not determine the cost. YOUR choices do.
Who here has lived this?
What cost more than you expected, and what cost less?
