Build Log #1 — First prototype flip test (video + next steps)
Today I tested the first working prototype of Pomobee — flip to start a focus session, flip again to break. What you’re seeing (in the video): - Flip → WORK session starts - End-of-session chime - Flip → BREAK session starts What already works: - Flip detection + session timer - Basic UI on the display - Simple audio cues What I’m testing next: - Session lengths (25/30/45 + custom) - Brightness & viewing angle - Feet/magnet stability on the desk - App sync (BLE) for stats & streaks Your turn (feedback welcome any time): 1. Would you use a flip-to-start timer on your desk? 2. What session length do you prefer? 3. One feature you’d want in the app? (If you’re reading this later: leave your thoughts — I’ll circle back.)

🔧 WIP Sketch: Early Pomobee Shape
We’re experimenting with the earliest form factors of the Pomobee timer – the shape, display, and physical feel. This is still a rough sketch — nothing final. But it’s the first time we’re sharing it publicly. 👀 We’re looking for your feedback on: - First impression? - Anything confusing or off? - What do you like / dislike? ______________________________________________________________________________________________ 🎁 Bonus for early contributors: The first 25 members who give feedback on early posts will get: - Early beta tester access - A “Founding Member” badge in the community - Your name in the credits on the first Pomobee packaging run 👇 Drop your thoughts in the comments and help shape Pomobee from day one!
